International admissions

Applicants submit the online form at intapply.yeniyuzyil.edu.tr and then send their documents to the university, where a Student Admissions Committee evaluates them and notifies pre-application results by e-mail. Accepted candidates complete registration and a prepayment, receive an acceptance letter for the student visa, and finish enrolment on campus with original documents before applying for a residence permit. Documents in languages other than Turkish must be accompanied by authentic Turkish translations; high school final examinations such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE and Tawjihi have no validity limit, while university entrance examinations such as the SAT are valid for two years. The registration page sets out Turkish proficiency levels A to C and English score thresholds for programmes with a compulsory preparatory year.

  • Online application form via https://intapply.yeniyuzyil.edu.tr/
  • Result certificate for one of the examinations or diplomas listed in the application conditions
  • High school diploma: notarial or consular certified copy in English or Turkish
  • YÖS (Foreign Student Examination) result, or the original/certified copy of an accepted national or international examination or diploma
  • Official transcript (grade status document) showing courses and grades, certified by the high school directorate
  • Proof of Turkish and/or English language proficiency
  • Photocopy of the passport identification page and 4 photographs
  • Pre-registration fee receipt
  • Applicants must be in the final year of high school or graduating; eligibility categories (and exclusions for Turkish citizens educated in Türkiye or the TRNC) are set out on the terms-of-application page
  • At registration: originals of all submitted documents with certified translations, original high school diploma or temporary graduation certificate, Ministry of National Education equivalence document, study-permitted visa from a Turkish consulate, two 4.5 x 6 cm photographs taken within the last six months, proof of tuition payment, and original exam results (SAT, YÖS, etc.) from the last two years certified by a Turkish embassy or consulate
  • Exam validity: high school final examinations (Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi) have no validity limit; university entrance examinations such as the SAT are valid two years
